Deerfield Beach, FL, - Since Florida is completely flat, it’s coastlines don’t offer much in the way of rugged shorelines. Although the waters can be quite clean and beautiful, and I’ll take them any day over California beaches, there’s really not much in the way of scenic breakups of the shore to offer any kind of photographic interest. At least to me. That is until I found this very small stretch of beach on the south end of Deerfield Beach. This little spot is located right behind the Embassy Suites Hotel. There’s a public road that ends right at the hotel on the beach side, and it offers public parking. It’s not cheap, at nearly $3/hr, it’s worth it.
This was one of the few times I found myself at the beach, but only had my iPhone. So I set out to shoot various ways, and I found that I really enjoyed this. Nothing beats a capable mobile phone camera for ease of use and convenience!
